And there seemed to be a hell of a lot to find in the game and a lot of upgrades to earn, which is neat.Дefinitely glad that the series at least got to go out on a high note, instead of ending on X6 or 7. Outside of that, the little parts where they mindlessly lock you in a room and have you hack away at enemies are lame, as are the intermission stages (or at least the first one with the waterfall. Oh, and there's a rather iffy gap in the Sunflower guy's stage that I seemed to need Axl for.

Outside of that, I didn't like how convoluted turning on the generator is in the blacked out stage, how it REQUIRES Axl and having beaten a particular boss, and the way that that spike section is virtually impossible if you don't do it. And then he of course turned out to be a joke with Zero's saber. Weirdly enough, I failed the submarine stage the first few times, first trying to figure out what exactly I was doing and then attempting to get it to work right, but when I went back to give it another try later I stayed on top of the jerk and killed him in no time. Of course the biggest problems came in the form of the vehicle stages, which were just plain not good. But yeah, outside of a few little issues I have, it was actually a pretty fun little game. they will be available to buy with metal(you need 40,000 metal) Alia is megaman type, palette is axl type, and layer is zero. Hell, even the voice acting and plot elements aren't completely embarrassingly bad, a rarity for the series. It was intense at a few points (played through on Normal mode), but all around felt a LOT more fair and well designed than X6 (not to mention the awful mess that is X7).

The Windows port of Mega Man X3 is also interesting since it includes animated cut-scenes and remastered music only available in the Playstation and Sega Saturn versions and not the original SNES release.So, after finishing up X6, I realized I'd finished all of the X series except for X8 (and I guess Xtreme 2 and Maverick Hunter X if those count), so I went ahead and borrowed my friends copy to put a close on the series.ДЄnd now. Considering Capcom brought Street Fighter Alpha 2 to GOG, Ive got my hopes up for this game. Consider for example the DOS versions of Mega Man 1 & 3 which are nothing like the NES games, or the DOS port of Mega Man X which has some noticeable differences in both aesthetics and game play from its SNES counterpart. There was a PC port of Mega Man X8, and it rocked.
